Descrizione
In the Stura Valley, alpine pasture is widely practiced; in addition to cattle breeding, there is also sheep farming, particularly of the native Sambucana breed, which takes its name from the location where we will start our excursion.
Our hike will cross these small pastures and allow us to learn about the life of shepherds in the alpine pastures along with their animals, witnesses of ancient traditions, seriously endangered in today's world, and therefore in need of preservation.
We have the possibility to taste typical mountain cheeses from these lands during the excursion.
